At the end of 2021, the Vipservice Holding carried out a tender to select a strategic partner in the insurance sector for the period from 2022 to 2024 for all of the holding's operations. For a company with more than 13 million passengers traveling with travel documents issued annually, this is a strategically important issue. In addition, the holding was starting new projects in the last two years - a concierge service, a flight program for Marstercard, all of which are consumers of insurance services, including premium services. This expanded range of necessary insurance benefits and requirements for partners changed.
Selection of suppliers began at the beginning of November. Invitations to participate were sent to the top twenty Russian insurance companies. The following main selection criteria were named: company's financial stability, annual insurance volume, experience in working with specialized companies and industries. Willingness of the company to integrate into the holding's systems in order to receive a wide range of content was also important.
14 leading insurance providers took part in the tender. As a result of the evaluation according to all criteria, the title of strategic partner of AlfaStrakhovanie JSC was confirmed and the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company was selected as a provider of premium services.
